Abstract
A quick synchronization parallel control strategy for multi-paralleled generators based on linear regressive forecasting algorithm is presented in this paper. The proposed controller consists of a speed regulator of diesel engine and an Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) of synchronous generator. The task of the speed regulator is to automatically adjust frequency and load; ACB is used to control the generator either to work in the ship power system or trip off. Regressive forecasting algorithm is applied to estimate the closing time of a paralleled synchronous generator. The main contribution of this paper is to give some insights into closing instruction of ACB. In this way, to overcome the shortcomings of the parallel method of phase difference, the proposed control strategy is evaluated via power station onboard and the result shows that the accuracy of ACB closing is improved.
