  • Abstract
    This paper presents a loss reduction in distribution system with photovoltaic system by considering fixed and automatic switching capacitor banks using genetic algorithm (GA). The ploblem is to determine optimal capacity and location of grid connected photovoltaic system (GCPV) and capacitor banks. The proposed method has been tested with a Tahsai 34-bus system from the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) of Thailand.
