  • Abstract
    Greenhouse agriculture is widely implemented to improve agricultural productivity. It requires monitoring and controlling the environment for the growth of the crops. In this paper the design of monitoring system is introduced and the system is experimentally investigated. The system is composed of wireless transmission network and monitoring platform. ZigBee wireless sensor network has been built and mesh technology is applied to the system. The experimental results show that the system can catch the change of the greenhouse temperature and humidity effectively in the wireless environment. The photographs of the system and the testing curve are shown in the paper.
