Abstract
This paper investigates the girth of concatenated zigzag codes with linear interleavers. We obtain the sufficient condition of no cycle of length 2G (G>1) among information sequences and no cycle of length 6 between information sequences and parity-check sequences. At last, as examples, several good concatenated zigzag codes with linear interleavers are given.
