Abstract :
In this paper, a modified clipping and filtering scheme is proposed for improving the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction performance of conventional repeated clipping and filtering (RCF) scheme in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. The main idea is based on dividing the input OFDM symbol into even-index part and odd-index part for independent processing of clipping and filtering. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively improve the PAPR reduction performance of original RCF scheme with the same iteration numbers and computational complexity.
