Abstract :
An application system with three-tier architecture is completed. In the system architecture, the client is developed by Delphi and the application server by Java. The Application Server encapsulates the queried result to XML formatted data with JDOM toolkit and sends them to the client with Web service. The client decodes the XML data to strings with MSXMLDom decoder and encapsulates them to a ClientDataSet, with which the queried result can be shown to the users accordingly. It is proved experimentally that this method is feasible to implement.
