Abstract
This paper proposes a new method to simultaneously estimate the frequencies, azimuths and elevations of narrowband coherent signals. With spatial smoothing and rotational invariance, we construct a passive stereoscopic array to receive the multiple incident electronic signals. Then, through parallel handling, we obtain the parameters (frequencies, azimuths and elevations) of incident signals. The method not only saves the computing load, but also greatly improves the ability of the ESPRIT-like methods in dealing with coherent signals. The computer simulation results verify the efficiency of the method proposed
