  • Abstract
One drawback with the simulation analysis and evaluation system of satellite navigation systempsilas service performance on positioning, velocity-measuring and timing is that it takes the analyzers too much time to run the simulation. A pc cluster based parallel simulation solution is proposed, using the analysis of global gridpsilas dilution of precision as an example. For load balancing, three schemes of entities partitioning are introduced successively, i.e., mean number of grid points based partition, CPU frequency based partition and baseline testing time based partition. For less communication among processes, an event sending mechanism is designed, i.e., the first grid on an LP receives the events (which contain the coordinates of all satellites) sent by the constellation, and then retransmit these events among grids from one to the other. The results of the experiments show that the parallel simulation using CPUpsilas frequency based partition could gain good speedup.
