Abstract
The authors examine the possibility of measuring blood pressure on ambulating or exercising individuals. After a detailed review of the published literature, they describe the concepts of a method to measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure on the temporal artery on the side of the head. They assess the potential for using this method on exercising subjects.<>
