Abstract :
In order to achieve binocular image acquisition, such a binocular system is designed, both on hardware and software. The system consists of an upper computer and a lower computer, while the lower computer is divided into two subsystems. Based on BF561 microprocessor, the subsystem of the lower computer acquires image data from MT9V032 and transmits them to the upper computer through USB. With their cooperation, the two subsystems expose image simultaneously and send them to the upper computer alternately. In this way binocular acquisition is fulfilled. The upper computer sends out instructions to the lower computer and receives image data. It also processes these data according to specific applications. Tests show the whole system works well and can be put into practical use.
