Abstract :
A method of modulation and demodulation in self-synchronizing chaotic communication systems is discussed. In order to improve the security of the system, a parameter in the transmitter is modulated by an information signal, and a novel nonlinear filter is applied to recover the information signal at the receiver. The simulation results for the system are satisfactory, and the system can easily be implemented for practical communication applications
