Abstract :
Spectrum sensing plays a key role in cognitive radio, which enables secondary users to identify and utilize vacant spectrum resources allocated to primary users. In this paper, we focused on the implementation and application of the sepectrum sensing algorithm. A spectrum sensing platform was constructed based on GNU Radio and USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral). Energy sensing algorithm based on frequency domain was implemented on this platform. Furthermore, a cyclic stepping detection method was proposed and designed on this platform and applied to a wide range of spectrum sensing. Meanwhile, cooperative detection method was realized and it detected primary user signal over 800MHz~1000MHz, then we accessed the free frequency band and carry out the wireless transmission of file on this platform.
