Abstract :
The ball screw drive system is obtained widespread application in the modern machine. Along with the improving of feeding velocity and working precision, its positioning precision becomes more and more important. Considering the bearing stiffness and the contact deformation between the worktable and the screw, using boundary conditions and matching conditions, the vibration frequency equation of the screw is derived and the mode shape of the screw is solved. Longitudinal and torsional vibration of the screw and vibration of the worktable are studied. Dynamic model of the ball screw drive system of machines is established using Lagrange equation. The model is analyzed by the mode superposition and Runge-Kutta method to calculate the transient response of the worktable. The effect of the system parameters on the worktable´s vibration are studied to supply a base for designing the drive system.
