Abstract :
The PSCAD simulation model of Yindong HVDC system is established based on the actual parameters. Establish AC equivalent (Shandong power grid) model of inverter side using a suitable method for electromagnetic transient simulation, set up different types of faults to Shandong power grid, including unbalanced fault (ground fault) and symmetric faults (three-phase short-circuit fault), research and analysis on the impacts on Yindong DC transmission system of Shandong Power AC system faults, and it will provide some guidance for the stable operation of Yindong HVDC system.
