Abstract
The authors present a preliminary investigation on the capability of kalman filtering to detect and measure reliably timing information from intracardiac signals observed in electrophysiology (EP) laboratory investigations. The technique has the potential to improve performances of existing systems. To the authors´ knowledge, similar techniques have not been applied to this type of signals. However, it remains to be demonstrated that they are more efficient than the ones which have been currently used in this context.<>
