  • Abstract
Driving fatigue is one of the main reasons of resulting in heavy traffic accident and is an important part of accident risk. Road scene is one of the main exogenous factors contributing to fatigue. Design rationality of road scene plays an important role in reducing the influence of driving fatigue. We use video image processing technique and video image compressing technique to research the relation between road scene and driving fatigue. Consequently, information change measurement of road scene over time involves MPEG compression and OpenCV program. The presented research result shows highly consistence with human identified solution in general environment and will lay a foundation for the further research of reveal the relation between road scene and driving fatigue.
