Abstract :
Heat transfer analysis for a high power hydro-motor with cooling duct was given in the paper in which the heat flow inside the hydro-motor was described precisely. Based on the running characteristic of hydro-motor, the thermal model which could predict temperature charges of motorpsilas different parts was built. Hydraulic system with valve-controlled hydro-motor was taken as an example of the simulation, and the results show that the model can more comprehensively and accurately reflect the dynamic temperature changing process of all parts and give important reference values to the cooling design and the safe use of the hydro-motor.
