Abstract :
In this paper we present an analysis of the degradation introduced by the interpolated filter into the FIR-IFIR hybrid echo canceller proposed by Abousaada et al. Through a joint approach combining interpolated transversal filtering and linear constrained optimization, the optimum filters for the Abousaada scheme are determined. We also analyze the performance degradation, which is shown to be a function of the input signal correlation, the IFIR filter sparseness, and the interpolator parameters
