Abstract :
A novel near-field source localization algorithm based on fourth-order cumulant is proposed in this paper. The array manifold matrix is estimated using subspace method at first, and then the automatically paired DOA and range parameters can be obtained using least squares estimation. The proposed method requires only one fourth-order cumulant matrix and does not need any multidimensional search or parameter pairing procedure. Simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
