Abstract :
This paper takes an approach to transmission rate allocation in cellular radio systems through the feasibility of the transmission power control. The resultant rate allocations do not focus only on the maximization of the throughput, but also in the even allocation of the rates in respect to the channel conditions. Therefore the proposed feasibility approach results in more fair transmission rate distribution between the users. In here, the fairness is considered in the form of numerical value of harmonic fairness. The feasibility of power control is guaranteed by spectral radius estimation of normalized link gain matrix. The approach is demonstrated through simulations
