Abstract :
The performances of the handling and stability and ride comfort have important influences on the bus design. To analyze them, the whole vehicle flexible model and road model are built by ADAMS software, and the performances of the original bus are simulated, the real vehicle tests are done to verify the simulation results. According to the universality design requirements of a bus enterprise, the universal program on the bus is proposed. The key parameters of the bus performances before and after universality design are evaluated. The values are reasonable by comparing. It concludes that the method of performances analysis is effective on the bus universality design and can save a lot of time and costs.
