Abstract
To improve machining accuracy, a model reference adaptive controller is designed based on Diophantine polynomial equation in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor servo system. Simulation and experiments are performed, the outputs from different axes all of which adopted the MRAC are compared, with different disturbances in different axes; at the same time, the output using the MRAC is also compared with that using the traditional PID controller. Simulation and experimental results show that, the model reference adaptive controller designed in this paper is efficient.
