Abstract
This work introduces a new robust high resolution algorithm for space spectrum based on the direct data domain least square (D3LS) method. This work adds a virtual desired signal to the receiving data and treats the actual desired sources as interferences. Then nulls result on the direct of the actual desired sources by D3LS adaptive processing. A new beampattern is got after proper processing of the virtual mainlobe. If the beampattern is upside-down, we get a space spectrum for the actual desired sources. This work gives the implementing steps and simulation results show the validity of the proposed algorithm.
