            Abstract : 
Wavelength-division-multiplexed (WDM) systems can utilize the vast bandwidth provided by single-mode fiber (SMF). Here, we demonstrate a hybrid WDM system for digital trunking applications. Supporting heterogeneous traffic, the system can distribute QAM-modulated multichannel digital video, baseband PCM video signal, and SONET OC-192 signal that can serve both hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) and fiber-to-the-curb (FTTC) broadband access networks.
