Abstract
We describe an application of cognitive techniques to the problem of dynamic server allocation in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). A combined approach that utilizes planning, learning, and domain expertise to select appropriate server candidates at run-time with the goal of maintaining a low average service response time is proposed and initially evaluated in a low-fidelity network simulation
