Abstract :
The aim of this work is the analysis of permanent magnet synchronous machine under id≠0. The new magnet materials have high remanence and coercitivity values and they can be used under other operation modes, without the demagnetization problem. Three operational modes and three control philosophies are considered. A comparative study includes: the ripple and cogging torque, the ripple current, the power factor, the torque magnitude, the levels of voltage and current and step response time.
