Abstract :
This paper presents a model-based design scheme of automatic train operation (ATO) simulation system so that the simulation system could have good extensibility, reusability and maintainability. The analysis, design and implementation of such a system have been completed and it has been used to simulate the Beijing Metro Line 1 Automatic Train Operation System.
