Abstract :
Heterogeneous multi-core processor has been used in embedded systems. A method was employed which allocate tasks to the core according to its features and needs because of structure features of heterogeneous multi-core processor. We should not only consider execution time of tasks but also energy consumption in some embedded systems. But most of scheduling algorithms only take one aspect into account before. In this regard, we present three scheduling principles suitable to independent task scheduling in heterogeneous multi-core processor, and a new algorithm named ECSA is presented which consider three principles as mentioned above.
