Abstract
The maintenance processes of ships have an important impact on maintenance quality and schedule. For the purpose of controlling and optimizing practical maintenance processes, the paper analyzed the characteristic of maintenance processes and presented the flow. The method of processes modeling based on Petri net (PNs) was used to describe the practical maintenance processes, and the maintenance processes models were introduced. By using the method, the performance indexes of maintenance processes are easily obtained. Finally, an example is introduced to analyze the maintenance task time. The results show the method could supply for improving the practical maintenance processes.
