Abstract :
This paper briefly discusses the basic principle of the APFC(Active Power Factor Correction) Transition Mode, then it analyses the working principle of L6563 chip, and use L6563 chip made a 100 W with active APFC Switching Power Supply prototype. Through testing, the results show that the PF(Power Factor) can above 0.98, THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) is less than 8%.
