Abstract :
The finite element software ABAQUS used for thermal properties simulation of SQW semiconductor lasers is described. And ABAQUS is applied for simulation of transient thermal distribution of 808nm SQW semiconductor lasers driven by pulses. The results show that the thermal analysis using ABAQUS software is very convenient and fast.
