            Abstract : 
Potential designs for active coatings for the blades of wind turbine generators are investigated which operate at frequencies around 3 GHz and 9 GHz, corresponding to the air-traffic control (ATC) and marine radar bands. The designs are verified experimentally using large area test panels.
