Abstract
An expert system called the automatic analog circuit test strategist (AACTS) is being created on a symbolics LISP machine. AACTS is a tool which can be used by test engineers to aid in the development of test programs for analog and hybrid circuit boards. Given a schematic drawing, AACTS can be used to generate automatically an acceptable test strategy. The authors describe the AACTS system, document the results of a concept demonstration, and describe plans for future improvements
