Abstract :
An Advanced Along-Track Scanning Radiometer operating in the visible and infra-red part of the spectrum has been selected for the ENVISAT-1 mission to provide continuing accurate and precise global measurements of sea surface temperature. This paper presents the key features of the AATSR system, including an overview of the AATSR Ground Processor architecture, selected algorithms and data products
