Abstract :
The authors describe a new facility for performing multichannel magnetocardiographic and magnetoencephalographic studies in a clinical environment. The measurements are made in a magnetically shielded room built near major clinics in a hospital. The 122-channel neuromagnetometer has been in use in subject and patient studies regularly since December 1994. The 68-channel cardiomagnetometer was installed more recently and the measurements have been started
