Abstract
An adaptive filter capable of tracking, eliminating, and enhancing narrow band signals is described. The system relies on the property of Switched-Capacitors (SC) of having pole frequencies proportional to the sampling rate of its switches. The filter tracks the peak of the spectral density function of the input signal by adapting the sampling clock of the switched-capacitors. A prototype was built using discrete components but it can also be realized in a CMOS integrated circuit.
