Abstract
In this paper, a new active noise control algorithm based on a delayless subband adaptive filter architecture is presented. To implement the filtered-x LMS algorithm in the subband structure, the secondary path transfer function is decomposed into sets of subband functions. Also, an on-line system identification method implemented in the subband structure is suggested. A major advantage of this approach inherits from the reduction of computational complexity. Simulation results are presented to show the efficiency of the new active noise control algorithm.
