Abstract :
Dielectric spectroscopy is an important parameter for polymer insulating material. Because of measuring principle and the different measurement methods, the actual measurement results of the same material have deviations. This gives difficulties to study insulating polymer. In order to get a reasonable measurement results, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) was measured by Agilent 16451B electrodes system and Agilent 4294A Precision Impedance Analyzer through a variety of measurement methods. In our study, some methods are tried to measure the spectroscopy for polymer, including contact method, non-contact method. From our comparison, non-contact method is more suitable for measuring the dielectric spectroscopy of polymer dielectrics.
