Abstract :
his paper proposed an image retrieval method using the Daubechies wavelet and stage treatment. This algorithm decomposes the color information of the image using Daubechies wavelet and constructs the eigenvector using both the low frequency component and the high frequency component. Three features: variance, invariant moment and angle of the eigenvector are used to compare the similarity between the retrieval image and the images in the database. The experiment demonstrates the effectiveness of this method and its time efficiency.
