  • Abstract
    The emphasis of this paper is analyzing the noise figure of Raman Fiber Amplifier in N channels of DWDM system. First the expression of noise figure is derived by using coupled wave theory of nonlinear equations. Then the relationship of noise figure, fiber length and pump power is obtained by numerical value analysis. The extreme value of noise figure is introduced. It will have reference value to further study the noise performance of Raman fiber amplifier.
