  • Abstract
    In design process of power transformer for the insulation of the vertical structure, the calculation of winding wave process is an important reference. This article describes the simplified equivalent circuit model and calculation method of wave process. Based on Matlab, the computer program of power transformer winding wave process is written, and both electric potential and gradient distribution of transformer winding is calculated, in order to find insulation weak point. Calculation result is validated by comparing with test value or by an example of the product.
