Abstract :
We report on efficient soft X-ray generation methods from fs-laser-produced plasma. Soft X-ray generation yield of more than 1% in the double-pulse excitation scheme, and soft X-ray pulse duration of less than 6 ps in a single-pulse scheme are demonstrated.
