Abstract
The effects of operational amplifier gain bandwidth (GB) on the performance of a state variable filter are considered. Third- and fifth-order models for these effects are generated and compared. A method of compensating for the effects of GB is developed, and examples of its use are given. It is shown that the compensation is possible even for high-Q and low-GB cases
