Abstract :
In today´s highly competitive environment, manufacturing in low cost countries is a necessity and no longer a competitive edge. It is both strongly competitive and culturally challenging for US tech companies to develop their offshore footprint. Further, as Asia is emerging from an emerging manufacturer to a consumer oriented society, local demands present new opportunities and challenges. In this talk, we´ll present our experience and perspective of expanding our market presence in China and develop China site as both an engineering center and manufacturing house.
