Abstract
In this paper basic restrictions of the existing semiconductor radiation detectors are analyzed. It is shown practicability of the radiation semiconductor detector using microwave technology development. Theoretical analysis of signal generation in such detectors is resulted and the factors limiting sensitivity and power resolution are estimated. Presented in this paper are some variants of ionizing radiation semiconductor detectors design, which are different by resonator structure of the microwave feed and signal generation circuit.
