  • Abstract
    e-Learning is strongly expected to be used for self-learning. Focusing on e-Learning systems designed to realize student\´s self-learning, it is not always said that those systems can achieve expected learning. Our research aim is to enhance learning effects with navigating students to ideal learning status by adding learning assistance functions by system initiative into existing e-Learning systems. We have developed Self Study Material Contribution and Sharing System "S-Quiz" that realizes student\´s self-learning. S-Quiz can provide a learning environment wherein students can make educational materials and the share them for their self-learning. It has revealed that preparing the learning environment for question poising and sharing gives little impacts to active question posing by students, from the results of several trail experiment and use in real class of S-Quiz. We are currently developing an intelligent educational system called "Active S-Quiz" which has learning assistance functions by using both S-Quiz and partial system based on system initiative.
