  • Abstract
    Nonlinear modulation response of discrete or electroabsorption (EA) modulator integrated distributed feedback (DFB) lasers is experimentally studied. Reflection at modulator facet and modulation at relaxation resonance frequency are found to enhance high order modulation sidebands.
