  • Abstract
    In order to improve the surface emission property, a two-dimensional photonic crystal membrane cavity with a bottom air-gap DBR is studied. It is found that the DBR performs as a lossless perfect-electric-conductor reflector and thus enhances the surface emission efficiency.
