Abstract :
A new type of variable topology parallel mechanism was presented, which is used in tire building drum mechanism. The solid models of the mechanism was established, and the dynamic model of the mechanism was established by using Newton - Euler method, then the model of variable topology parallel mechanism was imported into the ADAMS, the dynamic simulation of the mechanism was analyzed in ADAMS, which provided theoretical basis for its design and practical using.
