  • Abstract
Now-a-days finding location of mobile vehicles is a very important issue in cellular radio network. For locating mobile users we have several methods and mobile position estimation technologies such as Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA), Enhanced Observed Time Difference of Arrival (E-OTD), Angle of Arrival (AOA), Time of Arrival (TOA), Received Signal Strength (RSS) indication, and GPS systems. But all these technologies have several disadvantages such as having no security, need of special type of antennas, highly complex design algorithms, high estimation time, and high cost. So, our proposed method develops an efficient, less time consuming, robust, secured, and economical method of finding location of mobile vehicles using two base station method based on Doppler shifted signals. We have designed and implemented the proposed method using MATLAB simulation and results show that our method gives more accurate values of location of mobile vehicles compared to other existing methods.
